I can't spell, I don't like math, and I like writing way too much. I have arguments with the characters sharing my headspace. My husband thinks it's funny, my friends think it's normal, and I think it's crowded.

In this journal, I tend to yammer on about my books. Occasionally I have other things to say.

I like making new friends. Feel free to comment and introduce yourself if you add me to your reading list. Or not. Whatever you're comfortable with. I've been trying to keep my reading list at a manageable size where I read everyone on it, so I may not add back right away, or ever, but I am incredibly nosy and procrastinate by taking peeks at other people's journals. (I also prefer the term "reading list" to "friend list," because the second implies all kinds of things, while the first simply implies that this is a list I read.)

In 2006, I teamed up with a few friends for the summer, and we decided to take over Sunnydale LiveJournal and make stalking following agents' return times a little easier. We created agentturnaround.

I read slush for Jenny Rappaport of the Rappaport Agency. If you'd like to know about the two weeks I spent writing personalized responses to 243 queries, you can read about it under the temporary madness tag. (In which I learn why agents use form letters to avoid going completely insane.) Somewhat permanent madness is the less intensive blogging but somewhat more permanent reading of queries and partials and so on.
